On February 18, 2026, the main building of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University hosted the large-scale career guidance event Stefanyk Info Day. This event served as an important platform for engaging with prospective students planning to pursue careers in high technology, engineering, and applied sciences.
The Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics (CIE) showcased its educational programs and research projects, demonstrating how modern theoretical knowledge is integrated into the practical training of future engineers. Faculty members and students of the department presented the operation of laboratory setups, electronic devices, and programmable systems, captivating visitors with real-world applied projects carried out in the university laboratories.
Prospective students had the opportunity to explore CIE’s academic programs in detail, learn about modern technologies, and discover career prospects in the IT sector and electronic engineering. Interactive tasks and quests were especially popular, allowing participants to test their logic, observation skills, and teamwork abilities.
Students of the department shared their learning experiences, demonstrating how physics and electronics are applied in modern technologies, inspiring future applicants toward professional growth and new scientific achievements. Special attention was drawn to presentations on space research and the opportunities to study at the Observatory on Mount Pip Ivan, where CIE students participate in international scientific programs adhering to NASA and European Space Agency standards.
During the event, applicants fully immersed themselves in the atmosphere of departmental life, learning about laboratory work, internships at modern enterprises, and the organization of the educational process. Interactions with faculty and senior students helped prospective students clarify their professional interests and take a confident step toward choosing their future specialization.
Stefanyk Info Day once again confirmed that the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics combines academic traditions with cutting-edge technologies, creating an optimal environment for training world-class specialists and launching successful careers.
