In September 2015, during the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the UN Summit on Sustainable Development was held, where new development priorities were established. The Summit’s outcome document, “Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets.
Ukraine, like other UN Member States, joined the global process of ensuring sustainable development. To establish strategic frameworks for Ukraine’s national development through 2030 based on the principle of “Leave No One Behind”, an inclusive process of adapting the Sustainable Development Goals was launched.
