Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University held an orientation session for first-year students majoring in Computer Engineering and Electronics. The goal of the event was to familiarize newly enrolled students with the university’s structure, its primary areas of activity, and the opportunities offered by student life.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Nataliia Belova welcomed the freshmen, congratulating them on the beginning of an important new chapter in their lives and wishing them inspiration, academic success, and confidence in their chosen profession.
Tetiana Mykytyn, Head of the Human Resources Department, also participated in the meeting. She introduced the students to the university’s operational framework, administrative structure, and interdepartmental collaboration. Tetiana Mykytyn emphasized that the university is not merely a platform for acquiring technical knowledge, but an environment for professional growth, personal skill development, scientific research, and civic engagement. She urged the freshmen to remain open to new experiences.
During the session, students were briefed on organizational processes, administrative structure, and key aspects of department interaction.
Special attention was given to practical organizational matters:

The functions of departments responsible for the educational process, digital services, and social support;

Opportunities in student self-government, international cooperation, scientific activities, and leisure.
This orientation session will help first-year students easily navigate the university environment, effectively utilize available resources, and confidently begin their professional journey.
