On September 25, 2025, the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University received an honorary commendation from the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Schoolchildren. The award was presented for fruitful cooperation, reliable partnership, and a significant contribution to the development of scientific and technical creativity in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It should be noted that on this day, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Schoolchildren celebrated its 85th anniversary.
The award was presented by the director of the Center, Khristina Chepa, who noted the active participation of teachers and students of the Faculty of Physics and Technology in organizing and conducting joint events. In particular, she mentioned the organization of the STEM festival and the ChildTechExpo exhibition, the participation of teachers in the jury of scientific and technical competitions, career guidance lectures, and master classes that help schoolchildren in Ivano-Frankivsk region to better understand the world of science and technology.
It is worth noting that the long-standing cooperation between the Faculty of Physics and Technology and the Center has not only attracted talented young people to scientific research, but has also shown that physics and technology can be exciting and accessible. Thanks to this interaction, students have the opportunity to visit modern laboratories and conduct experimental research, communicate with teachers and students, and participate in projects and creative competitions that stimulate their interest in physical experiments, engineering, electronics, nanotechnology, robotics, and other natural and technical fields.
Representatives of the Faculty of Physics and Technology, Deputy Dean for Scientific Work Ivan Yaremi and Career Guidance Officer Volodymyr Gryga, expressed their gratitude for the high assessment of the work of the University’s structural unit. They emphasized that such cooperation is extremely important for training future specialists in the fields of natural sciences and information technology, which significantly popularizes the world of science and innovation among schoolchildren. The Faculty of Physics and Technology plans to continue expanding joint projects so that even more students can join the world of innovation and discovery.
