The 6th Ivano-Frankivsk Science Picnic, dedicated to the City Day, took place on May 7. The event brought together higher education institutions, business representatives, and institutions that actively implement scientific developments into practical activities.
Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University became an active participant in the event and presented educational and interactive scientific locations for guests.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with various areas of modern science, communicate with university professors and students, and learn more about the educational opportunities of the institution.
The participants were particularly interested in the presentations of the faculties of physics and engineering and natural sciences. Teachers and students demonstrated fascinating scientific experiments, technical developments, and research results that clearly demonstrated the practical application of modern science and innovations.
Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Employment Center — promoted the professional orientation of young people, helping participants better understand their own abilities and decide on their future profession.
The university leadership, led by rector Valentyna Yakubiv, also participated in the scientific picnic.
The Science Picnic has once again become an important platform for popularizing science, developing cooperation between education, community, and business, and supporting youth in professional self-determination.
According to the results of the event, Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University won 1st place in the “Best Location” competition.
