On September 7, 2026, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Mandziuk participated as a reviewer in a meeting of the ad hoc specialized academic council DF 20 051.283 for the defense of the dissertation by M.G. Moklyak “Synthesis, Structure, Catalytic, and Thermomagnetic Properties of Nd-Containing Copper Ferrite-Based Nanocomposites,” submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 10 Natural Sciences, specialty 105 Applied Physics and Nanomaterials. The aim of the dissertation research is to establish the physical laws governing the formation of the structure, phase state, and cation distribution in nanostructured copper ferrites and Nd-containing nanocomposites based on them, synthesized by the sol- -gel self-combustion method, as well as to elucidate their influence on the magnetic, electronic, optical, and functional properties in catalytic water purification systems and colloidal systems of induction heating.
