In the international UniRank University Ranking, Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University confirmed its high position and in 2026 took 9th place among higher education institutions in Ukraine.

According to the results of the rating, the university entered the TOP-10 most popular universities in Ukraine, maintaining competitive positions alongside leading higher education institutions in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, and Sumy.

In 2026, the ranking included 189 Ukrainian higher education institutions that met the selection criteria, including:

– availability of official accreditation or licensing;

– providing educational programs at the bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral level;

– training is carried out mainly in a face-to-face (traditional) format.

The UniRank University Ranking is an international non-academic ranking that assesses not the quality of education directly, but the level of representation and popularity of universities in the web space.

Its goal is to form an objective ranking based on independent web analytics, without using data provided by the universities themselves.

The methodology is based on a special algorithm that takes into account data from authoritative online sources, ensuring impartiality and transparency of the results. Only those universities that meet certain international standards are included in the ranking.

The ranking is formed with the participation of an international expert community, in particular the IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence, which confirms its reliability and compliance with global approaches to assessment.
